One reason is Real pressed 'Barca', winning possession then quickly counter-attacking leading to 2 of their 3 goals.

Today I have taken a very similar Real Madrid counter-attacking pattern of play taken from Jose Mourinho's Real Madrid: A Tactical Analysis Books.
