    Meet the Author

    Michail Tsokaktsidis

    - UEFA 'A' coaching licence

    - Bachelor Degree in Physical Education, specialising in Soccer Conditioning.

I played for 10 years as a professional at all levels of Greek football for the following teams: Doxa Dramas, Iltex Likoi (WOLVES), Agrotikos Asteras, Ethnikos K., Pandramaikos and Olimpiakos Volou. During my career I won 6 championships with 5 different teams.

At the age of 29 I stopped playing and completed my studies in fitness conditioning and football coaching. I was also a student of the UEFA coaching schools (H.F.F in Greece) and I am a fully certified UEFA A’ licence coach.

I started my coaching career in youth football for 3 years and for the last 4 years I have been a head coach in 3 different semi-professional teams in Greece (winning 2 championships). Football is my main focus in life and I have a deep passion for coaching. From very early I was interested in studying training methods, as well as analysing how they are successfully applied (in all phases of the game).

I love to learn from the great and successful teams who help to evolve the game. For my first book I wanted to use my skills to create great content for coaches all over the world to improve their training sessions. I decided to analyse a team coached by one of the most successful coaches in the last 10 years, Jose Mourinho.

I think this is a book which provides content that has not been produced before. We have combined a comprehensive analysis of the phases of play which lead to goals with training exercises that can be used for coaches to train the 4-2-3-1.
